Description: Free and Open to the Public The science of climate change will be presented and discussed, as well as what we know and don’t know about our climate future. How much society mitigates human causes of climate change through our energy choices will determine the extent of how society will be required to adapt to an altered climate. Alternative and sustainable energy options that are currently available will be explained. With clean energy and climate legislation working its way through Congress, the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen on the horizon, and SEAC\'s 350 week in progress for the week of the 21st, it seems like a perfect opportunity to do an event focusing on the connections between energy, the economy, and climate change. Presenter Info: Steve J. Miller of the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Greenland, NH. He has been doing the climate presentation in New Hampshire and other locations around the U.S. for some time, and is very excited to have the opportunity to speak at UNH. He is trained and associated through www.theclimateproject.org . You may park in C lot for free after 6pm.
